Home hemodialysis. Two ways to plan treatment at home.
Explore home hemodialysis through a dedicated Home Setup or Dialysis on Wheels, with equipment brought for individual sessions. Both options follow the treating nephrologist’s prescription, with Diagnex coordinating readiness, equipment and the home treatment pathway.
Specific availability is confirmed for the patient's locality and prescribed care requirement.

Two home dialysis arrangements
Home dialysis options, compared clearly.
Both are forms of prescribed hemodialysis at home. The practical difference is where the equipment stays between sessions, how much permanent space is needed and whether a refundable equipment deposit applies.
Home Setup
The machine stays with you.
from₹7,000/ session
₹1,50,000 refundable depositfor the equipment installed at home
How it works
A Fresenius 4008S machine and portable RO system are installed in the patient's home and remain there during the treatment period.
The machine
Dedicated to one patient while the setup remains installed.
Space at home
A permanent area near an appropriate water point, drainage and power supply.
Often suits
Families planning dialysis at home over the longer term who want the equipment ready between sessions.
Home dialysis requires a nephrologist’s prescription, trained professionals, appropriate equipment and clear escalation arrangements.
What stays the same
Home changes where dialysis happens. It does not change who decides it.
01
Your nephrologist decides. Prescription, schedule and treatment changes remain with the treating nephrologist.
02
Reports and home readiness are reviewed first. The team confirms the prescribed pathway and practical home requirements before treatment begins.
03
A trained dialysis team runs the session. Diagnex coordinates the people, equipment and session operations at home.
04
Escalation remains explicit. If home is no longer appropriate for the immediate situation, the treating or hospital pathway takes priority.

Start the Home Hemodialysis pathway
Request a dialysis session or a Care Manager callback.
If your paperwork is ready, request a preferred date and time of day. If you still have questions, start with a call. Diagnex reviews the prescription, reports, home readiness and availability first. The ₹500 booking amount is collected only after that review, before a preferred slot is finally confirmed.

Coverage is confirmed locality by locality across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly. The exact session model, preferred slot and operational readiness are confirmed before booking.
Why would we choose Home Setup if it costs more per session?
With a Home Setup, the machine and RO system are installed at home and used only by one patient, so nothing is brought in and taken away at each visit. Families planning dialysis at home over many months often prefer that. Dialysis on Wheels costs less per session and needs no deposit, which suits families who are starting out or need home dialysis for a shorter period.
What happens to the ₹1,50,000 deposit?
It is a refundable security deposit for the equipment installed in your home. It is returned when the setup ends and the equipment is handed back. The Care Manager will take you through the exact terms before installation.
What does the ₹500 booking amount do?
Diagnex first reviews the prescription, reports, home readiness, locality and preferred slot. The Care Manager then explains the booking step. The ₹500 booking amount is collected only after that review, is adjusted against the session bill and is not refundable once paid. Payment is not collected on this website page.
Why do you ask for viral marker reports?
Dialysis teams use them to plan equipment and infection-control arrangements before treatment. A positive result does not by itself determine whether home dialysis is suitable; the treating nephrologist and the operational team review the required pathway.
Who decides whether dialysis at home is right for the patient?
The treating nephrologist. Diagnex coordinates the arrangement at home, and Care Managers do not diagnose, prescribe or change treatment.
Can we start on Wheels and move to a Home Setup later?
The arrangement can be reviewed as the patient's needs, home setup and treating nephrologist's advice change. Speak to the Care Manager before changing the operating model.
